We hope to inspire your creativity with the projects we share here. We are home schoolers and love to be different, learn new things and have fun. We try to be as open minded as possible and when people say you should do something in a certain way, we ask why? Why should we follow suit? We are all unique and process things in different ways, so we should be free to express ourselves in our own way.

Art Inspiration - Learning to Draw with Muffalo Potato
Summary
Muffalo Potato is tutorials for learning to draw using just numbers and letters. They are presented by John and Muffalo, and can be found on either their website - www.muffalopotato.com - or YouTube. They also have a FREE (you know I love that word!) Drawing App on iTunes and have a massive selection of things to draw, including DanTDM, Stampy, Elsa, Olaf, Harry Potter, seasonal ones and so much more.
Review
I haven’t been able to test the free App because I do not have a device that will run it. However, I have tried and tested the tutorials. My husband first found Muffalo Potato and when our children showed me the drawings they had done, I was amazed! Then when they told me it was done with just numbers and letters I thought they were playing a trick on me. But when I found out they weren’t I was astounded and impressed. I had to try it for myself. The videos are short, making it better for fidgety children to stick with it and not get bored. It is so entertaining making it much easier to learn and follow. You can also pause, rewind and fast forward if you get stuck or behind. You can even make recommendations of things you would like John to draw. He really does listen and take it on board.
I have included pictures below of our results from following the Muffalo Potato tutorials on YouTube. There are A LOT! I have separated them out into Korey, Kameron, Kayleigh and mine (Natasha). Kayleigh’s are the most colourful ones out of all of us and the boys show some real talent in their drawings. I have even completed some in drawing software that I have on my computer, which is also how I created the image above. (For a description, just hover over a picture)
