We hope to inspire your creativity with the projects we share here. We are home schoolers and love to be different, learn new things and have fun. We try to be as open minded as possible and when people say you should do something in a certain way, we ask why? Why should we follow suit? We are all unique and process things in different ways, so we should be free to express ourselves in our own way.

Book Review (by Natasha 20/05/17) - Teddy Time by Mark Burgess (with pictures below)
Teddy Time is a great tell-the-time book for children. It takes you through a day of teddies organising for a party. The time is shown in numbers and on a clock. The text is quite large and repetitive so children can acknowledge it easier. The pictures are also bright and colourful showing all the activities that the teddies carry out.
We bought this book from a library many years ago and Kayleigh loved it when we read it together. It helped her become familiar with clocks and time at a nice basic level. She was then able to progress onto further stages of telling time much easier. I then read the book to the boys when they were small and they enjoyed it too.
Teddy Time is one of those books that kids can join in with because of the repition. There is also a lot to look at in the pictures, which are beautifully drawn. The bright colourfulness really draws you in and makes you want to discover whats on each page.
My kids absolutely love this book (even now!) So, I am sure you and your children will love it too.
For education and fun purposes, this book is a firm Bobble and Knit family favourite.
