BOOK REVIEW  (By Kameron 25/11/16) - Wolfhold by Steve Barlow & Steve Skidmore

Summary

There was a boy called Tom he woke up in a strange place and did not know what was going on. He met a girl called Megan and asked what the place was. She told him it was Wolf Hold and then after they talked they went to the shop. They talked to some man and Tom asked if he could buy a newspaper but the man said no. After this they also found that there was no way out of Wolf Hold. So they are like wolves being held in a pen.

Review

The cover looks good but when I read it, it was not that good. The pictures were good and it looked like they had an alright time. I found it very easy to read and a five year old could read it because there are only twenty five pages.

The book was not great and I don’t think you should read it because it was a boring book, even though the pictures are good.

Review by Natasha

Kameron is very draw to books that have pictures of army, marine, SAS and swat team types on them. He really thought this was going to be a great story and for his age range, when he found it in the library. He was really disappointed when he didn’t enjoy it. The story just didn’t flow very well and we felt that they were trying to cram a massive storyline into a short book. They were not successful.
