We hope to inspire your creativity with the projects we share here. We are home schoolers and love to be different, learn new things and have fun. We try to be as open minded as possible and when people say you should do something in a certain way, we ask why? Why should we follow suit? We are all unique and process things in different ways, so we should be free to express ourselves in our own way.

Children’s Felt Bags - with cross stitch design
I kept seeing kits for kids to make items out of felt, which gave me the idea to make two bags myself. I already had some felt and I purchased a value pack of pillow cases for the inlay, as well as a small eyelet hole punching set to thread the draw cord through. I even put a pocket on the inside.
Korey’s Bag Story
Korey (and Kameron) were both obsessed with Monster Jam and Monster Trucks. I stitched the Monster Truck design on as I went (without any pre-drawn design), using simple cross stitches. I also added his name. I think the finished result was really good and Korey loved it.
Kameron’s Bag Story
Kameron is a huge fan of Knight Rider (next to Action Man & Monster Trucks, of course). I thought I would attempt to stitch it on and as usual he asked if I could put a watch on Michael Knight’s arm for when he has to talk to KITT. He also requested for Michael Knight to be wearing a green shirt (because, like me, his favourite colour is green).
I think that both these bags were really good for my first attempt and no design to follow.
I hope this brings you creative joy and inspires you to start your own thread-tastic journey.
